BUDDY SHAKES IT UP !
This just in from Katie at Rescue Atlanta Inner-City Outreach....
Their church is shaking it up for BGMC! Their launch of BGMC in their Power Jam Kids service was a tremendous success. Katie wasn't satisfied to let her kids sit back and do nothing for BGMC, so she challenged her kids to give to Buddy. They promoted it leading up to the first Sunday in March, highlighted missionaries and what kids at RA could do to help.
Katie shares, "before we even had a buddy barrel in their hands, they were bringing pickle jars full of change for our kick-off day. It was amazing to see. After just two Sunday's, I had rolled over $12.00 in pennies alone." Rescue Atlanta asked Jason & Jennifer Libby to share about Buddy during one of their services. The offerings from the audlts and kids in three weeks totaled $85.88 from a church of poor and homeless men, women, and children!! Amazing!
Katie says she is "always amazed by (their) people and their heart for the Lord, they give when they have nothing."
