Qualifications:

Encounter Life Network—Newnan, GA

Encounter Life Network exists to reach and connect everyONE to Christ, Community, and Calling. As a multi-location Assemblies of God church, we are looking for a Location Lead Pastor to lead our Newnan location in living out that mission—reaching people, building healthy community, and developing disciples who live out their God-given calling. This pastor will provide spiritual and pastoral leadership while working collaboratively within the shared mission, vision, values, and strategy of ELN.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent ministry education
• Alignment with ELN’s mission, vision, values, and strategy
• Five or more years of pastoral ministry experience
• Ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God
• Ability to lead with both confidence and humility
• Must be a flexible and teachable team player
• Must demonstrate the ability to perform high-quality work with minimum supervision within assigned deadlines
• Must be able to think strategically on behalf of the whole church while staying focused on supporting and serving an individual location
• Must be able to handle confidential matters and material with excellence

Responsibilities:

• Champion ELN culture, communications, and message content
• Host and facilitate services, championing unity between locations and commitment to the ELN Network
• Preach effectively
• Lead your location staff and Dream Team in ELN’s mission, vision, values, and strategy. Provide leadership and supervision to ELN Staff and ELN Dream Team volunteers at your location
• Shepherd and care for the local church at this location, including counseling, officiating weddings and funerals, visitation, and other pastoral care functions
• Own the initiation, execution, and supervision of community engagement efforts
• Manage and maintain your location’s budget, including cultivating generosity, teaching biblical stewardship, stewarding Kingdom Builders commitments, and assisting in managing your team’s budget
• Champion and promote Kingdom Builders and its mission
• Work alongside the ELN Network Support Team and partner with ELN Network Lead and Executive Leadership and ELN Lead Collaborators to ensure your location operates with the systems, structures, finances, and facilities necessary to meet ELN standards and expectations
